GLITTZEED-UP ANOTHER ONE :^o WATCH OUT

2014-07-06 (listing2) (not yet sold @ $799.99 - BIN $1,200.00).jpg

This was a perfectly good original machine, before it got into the Butchers hands.
He just couldn't leave it as is, and had to drill holes in the top of the case, to mount
that recast frame, from a different Mfrs. machine, with a phoney home-made card.
The frame can easily be removed, but then you have holes that don't belong. Damn!

AND HERE WE HAVE ANOTHER "PHONEY of all PHONIES" :^o
Caille NEVER-EVER made this Fake baseball model.
It was entirely dreamed-up by the Vegas Butcher.

2014-07-06 (listing2) (not yet sold @ $1,999.99 - BIN $2,800.00) (a).jpg

Recognize that recast marquee? Yup! Just as phoney as on the previous machine above.
Additionally, new holes had to be made for it, as the holes for the original marquee are in a different
location. This was another perfectly good original machine, before he Totally Bastardized it up.
Incorrect paint job. Brand new, homemade reel strips, and all other paper on the machine, is made
from scratch, and NONE of it was produced by Caille, or anyone else. And just check out those hideous
looking swirl marbles in the display window. When is this Crap ever going to stop? Many-a-new collector
has been getting snookered with his junk, longer than I care to think about it. [-X

The Vegas 'Child' Butcher has managed to Screw-Up another 'once good & original machine.
His auction header is a joke in itself. A Pace Four Reel? Now that's a rarity! It also has keys & pennies. Wow!
What we really have here, is a Pace FIVE REEL "New Deal", that he has drilled holes in the front casting, to
mount a recast PIERCE Jackpot. This style Jackpot ONLY came on the Pierce model. Pace had their own style
jackpot, which he has recast, and cut-down numerous times, to mount on other mfrs. machines. He'll do
whatever it takes, to plaster it on something that it doesn't belong on. As is the case with all the Phoney
marquees, that find their way to making another FAKE model.
Also pay close attention, and put the magnifier on the very poor quality of the recast jackpot, and back door.
There are deep grinding and file marks all over. He states that the back door is 'original'. It is definitely NOT.
Then when you over-polish these castings, they look all-the-more Worse. Oh, and it has "been Repainted at
some point". Yeah, like last week, with Incorrect colors, in his "Estate Sale" shop.

2014-08-15 (not yet sold - $750.99).jpg
This is NOT a Pierce/Pace. It is a Pace, with a Recast Pierce Jackpot. They are two completely different machines.

As an ongoing attempt to keep these FAKE models out of our collectors hands, here we go again with yet
three more of the Vegas Butchers FAKES. The first is not on eBay at this time, but was awhile back, and is
a legitimate "Penny Smoke", repainted incorrectly, but it's the Phoney reel strips and award card that are
Bogus. He had these cigar-band strips, and card, made from scratch, to make this Fake. There were Never
any strips & card like this in Any factory model. This is all a greedy ploy, to squeeze more bucks out of the
unknowledgeable buyer. :^o
Groetchen FAKE 2a.jpg
AS PHONEY AS CAN BE.

Now we have his favorite Fake, that he has been making up for at least 20 years. He uses a standard Groetchen
"Ball Gum", and grinds the Ball Gum lettering out of the top casting, so that he can put the recast Tavern plate.
The unsightly & sloppy job on this one, is even worse than most, because he left the 'curlyQs' on the two sides,
therefore grinding the Tavern nameplate down to the edge of the letters, to squeeze between. Then, one of the
sloppiest incorrect paint-jobs to be seen, on top of all this butchering. Then the repro strips & card round it off. :^o
Groetchen Fake 3a.jpg
Another Bastardized Job.

This one really 'Takes the Cake'. We have an original "Cent-A-Smoke" on the coin divider base, but that recast
jackpot, is the style for Pace machines ONLY. Besides, this Daval model NEVER came with any jackpot, Period.
Again, with an incorrect paint-job, and those lovely, PHONEY cigar-band reel strips, like in the Groetchen model
above. Only this time, we have a different made-from-scratch card, above the jackpot. :^o
Daval Fake 2.jpg
Even more PHONEY than Mr. Cigar Band above.

PLEASE, PLEASE, SPREAD THE WORD AROUND, ABOUT ALL THESE FAKES, SO THAT NONE OF OUR UNSUSPECTING
NEW COLLECTORS DON'T GET BURNED, LIKE SO MANY ALREADY HAVE.

Well, that's got to be a First. Don't know. Although I did hear the same from two others.
Somethings up, because he has been running tons of stuff on eBay. Lots of original parts,
as well as recast Junk, and many nickel & dime items.

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!!
The Vegas Butcher has another FAKESTER on the block. He bought this machine on eBay 6/21/15, for $227.49,
as a nice original complete "GEM", that needed some restoration work, Not a BASTARDIZATION-CREATION. :^o
As many of you know by now, there is NO SUCH THING AS A 3 REEL "BAR BOY". Hopefully a Newbie doesn't get
sucked into this GREEDY SCAM. He didn't even flatten-out the coin entry, as it has the same dings, as when he
purchased it, and same markings on the parts inside.

2015-06-21 (alpacahen) $227.49 (a).JPG
This is the machine as it was on eBay.
2015-09-20 (not yet sold - $399.99) (a).JPG
This is what happened after the Vegas Clown FAKED IT.

Well, 'Wonder of Wonders'! It appears the Vegas Butcher finally got a dose of his own medicine! MAYBE?
The FAKE Red "Bar Boy" above, was supposedly sold on ebay, to an unsuspecting buyer, on Sept. 26, for $520.
The part that baffles me, is the buyer, (whom lives in NY), first listed it on ebay on Sept. 28. Now that's some
really fast overnight delivery service, and he was using the same Pics as the Butcher. He listed it as $575 start
bid, and $800 BIN. He relisted on Sept. 29, at $599 BIN, with no action, then relisted on Oct. 2, at the same $599.

I wrote the seller on Oct. 6, and told him what he really had, and his response to me the same day was:
"Thank you for the information. I got duped with this and Ebay quickly decided in the sellers favor? Would you be
willing to contact ebay in support of my claim? I just wanted to return it and the guy said I could and then had ebay
swoop in and tell me I couldn't return it. Thanks."

Then the seller wrote the following note to me 10 min. later:
"Thanks again, Your message gave me the courage to call ebay back and they actually fixed it, and refunded my
money! No need to contact them but thank you so much!"

Now, is it just me, or does anyone else smell a fish? He got his money refunded, and still has the machine,
and has relisted it at $499, or Offer, with 27 days to go. This is all beginning to look like this present seller
is a Satellite Office of the Butcher, and just pacified me with his replies. Hmmm! #-o

In addition, I would like to say:
This Forum topic of "Tips on Identifying Fraudulent Machines", has been getting more action and viewers, than any
other subject. Although I am impressed with that, it doesn't seem to be getting out to most of the people, that are
constantly getting Snookered with all the Crap on eBay, and the live auctions. This category has had '13 Topics', with
'146 Posts', and the "Bogus Trade Stimulator" thread alone, has now had over 25,000 Views. That's a Bunch! =D>
