Found Penny Clock Face Slot - Identity?

Postby JimTravis » Sat Oct 31, 2015 4:01 pm

Picked this slot up in Texas. It is complete and works but runs very slow. It appears the front wood has been replaces a one time and is missing the back. I am posting a picture in hopes that someone can identify it for me.
Thanks
Jim

It's a Bryans 12 Spin, it is an English machine plays on the large English Penny, the back door was only made of plywood should be easy to make one up, it has adjustable pay out just by rotating a disk on the inside, I converted mine to play on the us 25¢, very simple mech some cleaning and lube should get yours working properly.

Thank you for the information. Should be fun to get working on quarters.
I will check out the British Penny Forum with the Bryans name.
Thanks

Spot on it is a Bryan's Clock! The machines made by this company are very collectible and have held their value well over the years.

If you are interested in learning more- there is a bio of William Bryan and his company in my book More Automatic Pleasures which is available from Amazon.
The book contains a lot of interesting information about both the British and American manufacturers.
