Salesman sample

Postby kepmr » Mon Sep 05, 2016 5:23 pm

Found this over the weekend a Acorn salesman sample with the bottom part of the case, I don't think it has ever had candy in it. The chrome is peeling but that is the only thing wrong with it besides not having the rest of the case can anyone date this machine for me. Color is off it is a light green.

Thanks Ken

I think it maybe a bit earlier. Just looked at Silent Salesman 2. Looks like Oak / Acorn used the teardrop flap when they first started (1947) Great new old stock piece. Most of these were red.
Is it penny or nickel? Hmmm also just noticed part of the inside mech is plastic. Maybe it is later than I first thought,

Thanks for your help. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet seamed like a good idea to buy at the time.
