Time Capsule: Jennings Hacienda Buckaroo

Postby CoinOpNut » Sat Feb 11, 2017 2:20 pm

Here's a neat machine that is a true "time capsule" - a Jennings Baby Buckaroo from the Hacienda casino.

All original and untouched - the cabinet and mech have matching serial numbers as well.

Note the "74" on the jackpot glass, along with the paper decals telling patrons about Jackpots and winnings.

From an estate - former owner had a business in LV and he had acquired the machine when the Hacienda closed up.
Been in his home gameroom ever since. It's loaded with nickels from the 50s and 60s.

This is a great machine ... love the 4 reels and the coin tube. It was created from a basic Jennings Governor but the addition of the extra reel makes it unique. Love any machine from that time period that had been changed to a 4 reel machine. Makes it a bit more difficult to keep the slides right but a proper mechanic, can do the job 100%. Love these machines along with the next generation of Bally EM machines that started with 3 reels, and went to the 4 reels " Continentals and then the 5 reel Medalist machine which is the most collectible of the Bally EM slots... GOD I love this addiction of mine.... =D> =D> =D>

Very nice Coinopnut !
I was offered a buckaroo awhile back but, price was just out of reach. nowhere as nice as this one ! plus with a casino name on it.
how about another photo ,close up of the front decals please ?
I was in that casino a little before they closed. You would swear the mob still owned it, goons all over watching the floor.
4 reels , much harder to win the J.P.
