I need some help does anyone know if they make reproduction parts for Mills .05 machines I need escalator parts or does anyone have parts they would like to sell? My machine it seems someone ground the coin separation tangs off no idea why

Thanks Jim here is a few pics hope they help first is a diagram the next is what mine loos like and the third one is looking in on a machine I saw as you can see the nickels stay seperated mine don't they just roll past

What you have is a Buckley revamp escalator. Buckley changed the setup so that the coins would not jam in the escalator when a tooth misaligned with the coins. Still need the cabinet pic to see if yours is a Buckley or Mills. If it is a Buckley then it is the right style escalator. Later Jim

If that is a Buckley escalator the "retaining clips", for lack of a better description, that would somewhat slow down the coins in their travel across the escalator body as in the photo below are missing!
Possibly they were removed!

Thank you we may have spoke last night and I understand now. More questions than awnseres 2 machines both work as they are supposed to as far as payouts but jackpots seem funny heard the term false jackpot a few times the one machine the jackpot holder is there the other not place to store it just chocked it up to the age of the machine. It does have a special awatd if three bars align above below or crisscross and it works. Learning a lot.
