I am trying to repair a Bally E-1000 series slot for a customer. The only thing I see when it is powered on is the 5th position led is a zero, other than that, it doesn't seem to be going through the power up self test. I rebuilt the power supply and replaced all capacitors on the main board and the battery which was not corroded. The boards are very clean, so I don't suspect any type of corrosion damage. I'm leaning toward the possibility that the cpu chip, 2650A could be bad, and am wondering if anyone can give me some advice on whatever else I can suspect before purchasing this expensive chip. All the voltages are correct. Also, if there is someone who may have a working main board for sale, I may be interested in purchasing one. Thank you.
