You are most likely thinking the 3/10 payout. I have seen others. But the Bonus is not shown on the award card on that machine.

IF THIS MACHINE PAYS 3-10 LIKE IT SAYS ON THE AWARD CARD THEN IT IS PROPER. 3-10 WAS USED MOSTLY ON 25C MACHINES AS IT WAS TOO MUCH TO PAY ON 5C MACHINES IT WOULD HAVE COST OPERATORS PROFITS. THE AWARD CARD SHOULD HAVE A BONUS 18 PAY AT THE TOP IF IT DOES NOT THEN IT IS THE WRONG CARD. FINDING A 3-10 BONUS 18 CARD MAY BE TOUGH. JP CONTACT ME EITHER PM OR EMAIL. JIM

Jim
Am I understanding that the 3/10 was used more on 25 cent than nickel because it would cost the operator more if it were a nickel machine?

YUP !! However !! If an operator wanted to he could change the payouts on 5C machines to 3-10 pay to lure in more customers. This could be done in house or special order from Mills. Not a common practice!

Thank you sir !
Appreciate the insight on this .
Just picked up a bursting cherry 5 cent 3/10 payout .
My logic would have me thinking a 25 cent machine would be the one made less .
Good to have people like you on this forum !

Vendor trip lever is missing and the token tab at top as well. Nuts are all hex instead of square. No cashbox door and lock. Single coin lockout is also missing on the escalator. Slug box is repro. Did I get the right guesses?
