Okay -- so the group was way off on the final price of the Caille Roulette. I didn't venture a guess since I'm a relative novice compared to most of you and didn't have a clue. I can guess what an old pin and most common slots are worth but beyond that I'm in uncharted territory. But I never expected $210,000 for the Roulette. And the bid jumped in the middle of bidding from 42,000 to 200,000 -- what's up with that? I know bidders will up the required bid to stave off competition, but that's a hefty jump. And the bid was topped by 10,000!
Is this a case of a couple of "rogue" bidders or a true indication of the "value" of the machine.
