Sad news from Westlake, Ohio
Posted: Tue Sep 12, 2017 3:25 pmI just got word that Mike Gorski passed away this afternoon. Mike was a long-time coin-op collector as well as the premier replicator of Roovers fortune telling arcade machines. I met Mike at a local coin-op show in Cleveland when I first started collecting machines in 1998. He quickly became my collecting mentor and introduced me to a previously unknown (to me) world of coin-op and related antiques.
Since I lived just down the road from Mike, I was so fortunate to visit be able to visit him often over the years and share a beer (or two) while discussing coin-ops and life in general.
Mike is now with his beloved Marion, who passed away last month.
