Lost key to lock

I have a Mills Lion Front with a Yale lock on the back. I am getting ready to restore it, bu I cannot find the key anywhere.

Any suggestions on how to get it open without having to drag the whole machine to a locksmith?

Thanks.

Nick

Update on key question.

After a more intense search I found the key.
I had forgotten about what was written on the tag when I bought the machine many years ago.

Obviously, while interesting, there is no way to prove this. Maybe totally false, but sort of fun!!
Perhaps I might be better off leaving it in its original condition, just in case it did belong to Ralph Capone!

By the way the machine was not sold with any hype as having belonged to Ralph Capone. This just happened to be on the key tag.

Fun story Nick. Thanks for sharing. Although that '93 date at the bottom in the same hand writing as the name, doesn't really fit. Perhaps he bought it from Ralphs estate sale or something - who knows. Thin perhaps - but not impossible.

That was sort of my idea---that it was possibly purchased from Ralph Capone's estate.

Not really trying to convince myself or anyone else that this machine reallly belonged to a Capone, but hey it is fun to imagine!!!

Just in case, I think I will leave the machine in its original, unrestored state. It actually is in pretty good condition.

I will pretend!! LOL
