Unknown Mills Slot Machine

Postby Pinshoppe » Wed Jan 23, 2019 2:06 pm

Hi guys! I have this Mills slot machine but I have no idea if it's a reproduction or even when it was made. It appears to have been sandblasted and redone and there is nothing on the machine to give me any clues. Does not have a serial number either (at least not that I can find).

What you have is a Mill/Sega machine Continental style. This came out after Sega Corp ran out of Mills parts and was the new design for them. Prior Sega used Mills Hi-Top machines from the Mills bell-o-matic corp. There's probably more info that other members can add.

Your slot is from the late 1950s to early 1960s. Just sold mine last year.

This machine is not a Mills slot machine. It is a SEGA - a foreign machine, and was not made by Mills. Size of coins is slightly different from American Coins so you may have a problem if the payout slides haven't been changed to accommodate U.S. coinage..

SEGA,
and abbreviation of SERVICE GAMES was a foreign purchase of the later Mills company, Mills Bell-O-Matic and actually had a United States base of operation in Las Vegas beginning in 1958 I believe!
Freddy Bailey, who comes on this Forum from time to time has a vast amount of information on the company!
