Mills Machine?

Postby capt7310 » Thu Apr 04, 2019 1:54 pm

Hi all, just picked up this machine and I'm not really sure what I have. I've gone through the sites to see some pics but again I'm not sure. There's a lot of MLB parts but the jackpot looks like a PACE jackpot. The reel strips are all out of wack but I think there the ones for this machine (repro's). Only paid 350 bucks for it so I think I did OK, but to much stuff that I'm not sure of. Take a look at the pics and any help with it's make and anything you spot let me know. As always thanks

My thought is that this puppy started its life out as a 1928 or earlier Mills slot machine then after Front Jackpots came into play 1929 or so the Pace lower front casting was installed on it to add the front jackpot assembly probably by a route operator or even Pace Manufacturing!
Someone else may have a different thought on this but the ones I have seen like this are usually called Mills Pace Twin Jackpots and sometimes the term Fancy Front is added as well!
Pace Comets had a similar lower front casting I believe!
Just my thought!

Hi Monti, and thanks for the info. And as always your correct!. I found the exact machine on a Dan Morphy auction and it was listed as a Mills/Pace Twin Jackpot.
