Bug Pictures

Here are a couple of bug pics. The one that had been removed or fell off shows how crude they could be installed and the other looks like a quality install.

I had 1 which was just soft lead filling in the hole. but the others were meant to last. did these come with the "bugs" on the star wheel also.
to me ,these would be just "patches" ,not exactly bugs. Mills called the add ons to the star disc / gear " percentage enchanters".
should dig mine out & add here.

thanks for showing !!

Thanks for the clarification on the bugs vs patches. Neither of these had bugs.

Seems the British loved to use these bugs the most. now putting "patches" over holes was " everyone ", but it usually included changing a symbol or 2 on the reel disc (s). adding more holes = more mystery payouts...... Which The Nevada casino (down town) did a lot.
The bug simply made the reel lock arm skip over that now occupied space , No need for a patch. but it could screw up "other wining combinations". bugs typically found on the center reel disc. patches could be found on all 3.
