I finally made a lower section to hold the cash box / coin tray I just bought. Originally was planning to install it into the wooden stand but, seemed like a bad idea. so under the slot (as many were) & on top of the stand. will "rework" the stand first then mount it all onto it.

Nice work, Jeff! What materials did you use for the lower section'?
. . . looking forward to seeing the finished product!

p.s. somebody is 'giving away' a nice SEGA in Dallas . . .

I'll try to do all of the work ,then A final photo.
that Sega is actually a harder version to find. Plus it's a U.S. played machine in 10 cent ! it doesn't have the light box on top but , I do know what it looks like.
watch ,at $600.00 it will linger around a bit, before it gets sold. odd ,he has the door upside down in the photo.
you know you want it ....

sides & bottom of a quality "abs" type plastic ,in white. we have this stuff at work for many uses. shatter proof , resistant to the chemicals we have / use. each side 1 inch thick, 3 1/2 tall , around 12 inch long (a bit short). cut slits into the inside area for the locks. front face cut at an angle to match the cash box. counter sink the screws, ect. it will all be red to match the rest of it (eventually). will be a metal cover across the back section. have a "candle " light already for it. lighting system works but, wires for the mechanics' "jack pots" we cut & gone from inside the cabinet. will nede some photos of that to see what's missing.
need to play with the stand a little, then bolt the machine to it.
still no clue which casino it was used in. the tag line I've been able to find on Mills & Jennings compact type slots.... "we love to pay jack pots".

nice dollar mills compact from the Mint up on you tube.

Hi,
When the Casino's in Nevada were competing for business, some of them started putting various slogans on the face or on the top signs, showing the punters what they could win, When Jennings came out with their Galaxy and other front opening models in the 1960's, they built into these models the slogan "We Love To Pay Jackpots" (See the attached copy of the add and factory photo for these models) they also made these models with a removable section so the casino's could put their name in the window..
