2019 additions

Postby atac » Tue Apr 09, 2019 1:26 pm

I found a couple neat machines in 2018. Nobody has posted here in a couple months, so thought I'd share a couple 2019 additions. Dave helped me with the Jennings--thanks Dave! It's a 25c machine--didn't have any rust, but did have paint issues including a full spray of brown over the cabinet and much of the castings, so I'm doing a full restoration. I just picked up the Mills locally this morning. It's a legit penny machine. Works great, but does have some rust. It has a number of wheat pennies inside. I'm going to try to do just a mech cleaning and not a full restoration. Sorry the pics aren't the best, but the machines are what counts!

Here's the Peacock just finished. Was waiting on the cabinet for about 6 months to get the base warp fixed. Kudos to Rick Hector for all the hand painting on it including the award card...

That is one beautiful Victoria Peacock.
A beautifal restoration!!
I have the Gooseneck version (a more common version than your escalator model)

Can we see some video of the peacock on YouTube. Would love to see it in action. I have the same exact machine.
