Recently acquired a mills slot machine and need help

Postby Mferguson7985 » Mon Apr 06, 2020 1:32 pm

This was my grandfather's and I am unsure if anything is wrong with it. It is locked up and I've tried just the basics to get it to turn. I'm located in Oklahoma City if anyone knows of anyone or can help. Thank you.

You have at least 7 missing parts and a couple Sega parts added to the mech They do not affect the operation of the machine.

It should go even without some of the parts. Do you know how to cycle it outside of the cabinet?

You're missing the main tension spring that belongs on the back of the machine, attached to the back frame on one side, and the operating fork on the other side. The mechanism usually won't have enough strength to turn the reels without that spring setup. If you get that spring, the reels should turn. See attached photo to see the spring you need from one of our vendors such as Dave Berten.
