Vendet Midget reel disc issue

Hi, a guy with a Vendet Midget contacted me about a repair. I don't know much about them except I remember "pot metal", which is what I told the guy before he sent a pic. Yes, you guessed it. One reel disc is broken/cracking. I've never studied the reel bundle of one of those, so I'm not sure how the reel shaft, reels and reel discs are integrated. Assuming I could make a disc--is that something that can be "re-integrated" with the "bundle"? Need one of the brilliant forum members to help me out! Tks!

I wouldn't attempt to braze or weld. Just pattern and use newer Mills,jenny or pace reel bundle for material. Easier than it sounds Scott 949 939 8787
