QT Lever Function?

Postby flipper77 » Fri Jan 22, 2021 8:59 am

What is the function of this lever on top casting of Mills QT? Have had a number of QTs all with this lever but looking this morning and wondering - what does it do. Any comments much appreciated. Flip

It's a secondary lock lever to prevent prying into the front casting. Latches into a locking plate affixed to the casting. Activated by the lever on the front lock (if you have an original Mills front lock).

Thanks, you solved my mystery. Had to hold the lock up to see how it works. Appreciate the expertise.
