Missing screw on Mills?

Postby wildman » Thu Mar 24, 2022 4:27 pm

It looks like my Mils (Sega) 10 cent machine is missing a screw on the back of what I assume is called the escalator. The machine works okay, except for jamming one time. Just want to confirm there is a screw missing. The hole is right below the red pin in the photo.

Thanks

I do not see the location on your picture of where my hole is?

It appears to me you are missing the Coin Bar Release Lever which is held in place by a shoulder screw that goes into the hole you refer to.

Thanks. It sure looks like one of the screws with a spring should be there. I can't tell for sure if there are threads in that hole. I just noticed that the bar above that hole is broken. That might have been caused by the missing part. The machine still works, but still need to get that piece before the bar break gets worst

Hi Wildman, yes the bar is gone, but maybe this will help you solve your issues with your escalator

Another person mention that same thing.

Is this what you were referring to?

The machine works pretty well; just wondering how this will help?

Thanks

yes that the part, it keeps tension on the coin advancing bar so the coins don't skip in between the gates which will prevents the coins from bunching together in a row.

Thanks. for confirming. I will order that part.
Looking at the pictures of where the part is, I will need to try to figure out where the spring, hooks to. I do not see a place to do that.
