Mills dewey upright problems

Postby Espen » Fri Apr 01, 2022 11:58 am

I'm new here and this is my first post so if I do any mistake please be nice with me :)

I have an old original mills Dewey upright with some small issues that I can’t get a hold of and now I wonder if anyone here can help me.

How to adjust the machine when colors / flags which are not played react as they are played and pays out right..

It happens randomly and I have trying for days to solve the problem but I just don’t get it, nothing look broken and the rest
of the machine are in pretty good condition..

I have both pictures and video

Thanks for all the help I can get

Best regards from Norway

Hello Espen!
Hope all is well across the Pond!
As I had mentioned on NLG, New Life Games, where you first posted on this very nice Floor Wheel you obtained, I believe your issue lies within the coin head but hopefully one of the Floor Wheel guys here will help you out, Watling Boy, Mechanic or even our Administrator!
George, Jimmy or Dave, any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi Monti

Thanks again for your help and for tips it me with this forum..

I’m not 100% sure but it looks like I solved the issue by adjusting the four screws you can see in the picture, I loosened up the four screws
and pushed the whole mechanism closer in and it seems to work perfect 9 of 10 times now, before the issue was every second time so absolutely progress
and hopefully all I need from now is some small adjustments..

Sounds good Espen!
I was fairly sure it was either in the coin head or attached linkage/levers close to it!
You had emailed me about a music box for it, have you found one yet!
Might be somebody here that can point you to one!
Ciao!
