Mills extraordinary page boy

Postby Catman88 » Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:19 pm

I am interested in purchasing a Mills Page Boy and I noticed that one 5cent and one 10 cent machine pays out on one cherry, and another 5 cent machine Pays out on two cherries. What is correct, or did they manufacture the machine both ways. Thank you.

I am trying to learn as much as I can about this particular Mills slot machine and any info or knowledge would be appreciated. On the third reel strip a letter (E) appears, does anyone know what that represents.

The info from this book lends my to believe that the Page Boy was produced in 1945, is that correct.

It probably came out of an Eagles Club. There is probably a "D" on one of the symbols on the first reel and on "O" on the 2nd reel.

I suspect you got a special jackpot if you spelled "D O E".

Does "D O E" represent something/ abbreviation for something?

Oops, I meant to type FOE. Fraternal Order (of) Eagles.

Thanks Dave :D That makes sense because the book says the Club Royale was made for the new casinos in Vegas and for private clubs, very interesting.

Is it safe to say that these Club Royals in the photos in the first post are the real deal, no one has ever made a reproduction have they.

Is there a way to tell if a mechanism came with the machine, do they have numbers stamped on them to match the cabinet number.

Thanks again for all the help.
