Trying to ID a Date of Manufacture for a Watling Blue Seal Dual Jackpot Slot Machine Serial Number L61873.
Does anyone have a serial number list?

Serial number lists have few dates; the best you can do is interpolate from known dates to get an estimate.
I'd say your machine was made late 1934 based on 2 known dates;
558xx from 1933 and 630xx from Feb 1935.

It helps with known production dates for various models and when various features were introduced.
Am I correct in thinking you have a 5 cent twin jackpot with 2 column front vender but with no gold award?

My machine is a Watling blue seal with twin jackpot windows 4” Height and 2 Inch Width.
No vending function and no token dispensing.
Reel bundle is fruit and bars with no fortune printing.

From the information provided i took another look at the original very faded inspection label and I traced what I believe was written on it. Enclosed is a photo of the label with my version of the information next to it.

"Blue Seal" is a name applied to a series of Watling models; when someone says they have a Blue Seal you can't know what model variation they have without further description. WatlingSlot; your machine pictured above was advertised as the new 1935 (even though it was probably produced in 34) Blue Seal Bell with their larger jackpot windows.
