I have a machine from the 50's It is electromechanical slot. It has a controller that was behind the bar that would subtract points from the machine when you cashed out and you would pay the bartender he would add so many points on the machine. all I'm missing it that controller. does anyone have one? or the slot? I could use some info on the controller part. Right now I'm making a controller and getting some of the machine to work, but not everything. Help, Dave

It's a Buckley counter slot!
Had one come into the shop sometime ago so I did a little research on it!
I've been kicking myself ever since that I didn't draw up a wiring schematic!
But as diagnosing them on the bench is pretty straight forward I didn't,
however in your case building one from scratch may be a chore!
All I have is the photos below which may or may not help you!
Not sure where I picked up these photos, it's been a while!
Bona Fortuna!

PS
It'll be a little bit like putting an old "Heath" kit together in the 50's and I know I'm dating myself by saying that! LOL

Also Dick Beauschel a slot machine historian who wrote many books also wrote a small book on it,
#32 in his series calling it the Point Maker!
Photo below!
You may be able to locate one, not sure on how much detail is put into the schematic/wiring diagram!
Ciao!

Here also is a little history on the Buckley "Flasher" as they were called as there were no spinning reels showing to the player just the flashing lights to light up various symbols!
I had originally downloaded this pdf from the rcwatts website but apparently it is no longer there on the website for some reason!
An interesting read!
