NEED A GURU ...HELP

Postby bugaboo » Sat Jun 13, 2020 11:56 am

I just picked up this slot machine . There are no makers marks on the out side ..

I do not have the keys to open it . I am waiting to get my lock picking tools to see if I can do it my self

Here are some pictures

Also is drilling out the lock difficult ?

It has US on the side and a slew of Pat numbers on the bottom

I went with the obvious it has J . P Reserve on the front but no luck

Any help who made this

Century Triple Jackpot.jpg

I have one it is pretty machine cleaned up a little. One recently sold on eBay but I don't remember what it went for. I'm not one to quote what a machine is worth but there are a lot of people on here that can help with that. I'm not into restorations of machines, I like trying to keep it as original as can be. I'm not a fan of drilling out the lock either.

Also that little handle on the side you can turn does that drop down what ever you put in the glass windows

And why do you get free spins some time ?

Yes, it's a 1933-35 Jennings Century Bell slot machine. Page 123 of Dick Bueschel's Slots 1 book (Illustrated Guide to 100 Collectible Slot Machines, Volume 1 - 10th Anniversary Edition. This appears to be the mint vendor model - triple jackpot.

Yes, The little handle on the right side is for the roll of mints to be vended. You have two columns with doors and windows on the front which would hold rolls of mints
