Mills Slot fun

I have decided to serialize the nickles I put in my 1933 Mills slot machine to see where they end up. Has anyone else done this?

So far, I put in 132 coins before #1 #2 and #3 came out the payout slot.

In my $.50 Machine I randomly put some crappy liberties in for two reasons. One to track how long it takes to get them back and also as a game if you get the coin you get a six pack of beer or kids gift.

Takes about 190 coins to rotate through pretty consistently. If it gets stuck in the jackpot who knows.

I suppose on a thinner coin it might take more to rotate through. So on a nickel machine you could throw some buffalos in and see how they play.
