Monti
I had to give it some thought about bringing the subject back to life, the more I thought about it, the more I figured Bill would want us all to be talking about him after he left this world. I’m certain he wants us to remember him for the great guy he was!
It’s unfortunate that some of his stuff like all the records of serial numbers he kept haven’t come to light. It would be great if someone took over where he left off. Hopefully this type stuff makes it’s way back into the public eye. It would be great if someone wrote a book about him along with all of the records he kept. There must be mountains of info in his files! I remember him always piping up when someone said I got this or that machine and he’d say hey pass that serial number my way when you get a chance, I need it for my files! Ol Bill, quite the charismatic character to say the least! I never met him in person but again the phone calls were outstanding, he sure kept it going!
Good to hear back from you Mr. Monti! Your another one of the old time slot guys that could probably write an encyclopedia on slot machines if you wanted to!

Yes, Sam, I've been told I could write a book about my days in the casinos in the 60's/70's and as the "players" I could mention are all dead now, or most of them, I would probably get away with it but they do have relatives still alive! LOL
I just turned 75 last month so I guess I should get on it being 3/4's of a century old now!
Damn, I'd go back to the 60's/70's in a heartbeat if I could!
I've still got Bill's phone numbers maybe I should give them a call and see what, if anything, I could find out!
I still miss his calling and hearing his deep voice on the phone saying "Monti, this is Bill", we had some great conversations!
Take Care My Friend!
Ciao!
