Hi,

Just picked up this machine.

Any idea on age?
Are the painted sides original?

When I took apart to clean....found these 10 tokens behind the faceplate. Ones marked 1914

The ribbon on the bottom casting says 1922. My guess would be 1923. The castings are aluminum--they would be cast iron if earlier and the glass was rounded not flat. And it's pre-jackpot which was around 1928. So there's the range--about 1923-24. I doubt the paint is original as they were usually just finished wood on the sides.
