This brought $18,000 at the last Morphy auction.

Was this a Polk? If not, what am I missing here?

This is NOT a Polk. It is a Westerner made by John Hermann and GAMES of Van Nuys in the late 1970’s early 1980’s. It’s probably worth about $4,000 Tops.

What are we all missing... Are these numbers even real?

I don't know what we're missing but someone is missing about $14,000.00! #-o
Definitely not a Polk!

I THINK SOME POLKS WERE DESTROYED IN THE 1980 MGM FIRE. FRANK POLK AND MANNIE SANCHEZ CARVINGS ARE VERY HARD TO FIND AS THEY ARE NEARLY ALL IN COLLECTORS HANDS.
