Just picked up a quarter and half dollar high top and they both had six years of the Montana Slot Machine License stickers. Have seen these on other machines previously and think they make the machines a bit cooler. Did they ever repo these stickers or are they likely original?

Very common for unrestored slots that came out of Montana to have those stickers. Never seen reproductions of those stickers and not sure why someone would.

Sadly someone did reproduce those License Stickers years ago. The stickers on your machine are definitely not from Back in the Day. A couple of tell tale signs. Those stickers were always just slapped on the machines in a random manner. Almost never perfectly level. They would never line them up that perfectly. The edges were rounded, not sharp 90 Degree angles.

Finally, and most importantly. The Hi Top was released in 1947. There would Never be an Authentic License Sticker from 1945 on a Hi Top.

Slots of Montana (Lou Adler) did reproduce the Montana State stickers, they were vinyl and adhesive (the originals were Water Decals).....I have some of the reproductions from each year from 1945 until 1950......Lou passed away a couple of years ago and Slots of Montana went away with him...
