I came a cross a Mills War Eagle. I know these are reproduced in the later years. I would not mind a reproduction since it will go to my cabin to be used.
The person who is selling says it is original. But it looks too clean to be original. I want to ask the experts what do they think and what is a fair price.

Thanks All

It looks good to me. Most repos are quarter machines. This one has the escalator. It has the pump. Inside the cabinet on the left is a label. Hard to tell, but appears old. Also the wood base has the pins . It still might be a repo. If you search this site there are posts with additional warning signs. What are they asking for the machine?

It looks like a very early War Eagle with a 10 stop mechanism with tin litho strips.

It looks legitimate to me.

He is asking for $1300. I believe even if this is a reproduction, it is a good price for a mancave machine. If it is the real deal it would be a jackpot for me. :-)

From my understanding the reproductions didn't have the serial number stamped in the casting to the right of the payout card. Its hard to tell from these photos but it looks like this one has a serial number. most likely legitimate.

Thanks Dave. First I found your website, later the youtube video. They were both great help.

It arrived home after 4 hours of driving. Works perfect. I need to figure how to get the cash box out. :-)
Back cover is original with a Mills key.
