Hello all
So I check eBay time to time looking for Mills Vest Pockets. I've restored 3 so far and I have about 5 more parts machines.
Today I see a new listing for a non-restored VP. He's asking a ludicrous $769.99 or "best offer."
Fine, whatever, ask $10,000 for it. People never look or research when they get these machines even though it's quite easy.
But what I noticed was that, again, it's being called a "trade stimulator."
Here's his description:
This is an excellent original machine. All original. It works flawlessly. Some wear to paint. Comes with the ORIGINAL keys (not shown). Overall a beautiful piece. This is a trade stimulator. It is not a traditional slot machine.
VP's are not and never were trade stimulators. They pay out coins. I send him a friendly message stating that fact. It was NICELY worded. That only thing "negative" I said was that it was NOT a trade stimulator. I then explained the difference. I then sent the message.
One minute later I get this:
"Please stop being an arm chair expert and go away"
Wow! So instead of replying with anything angry, I simply told him my 15 years experience with them, and sent 5 photos of my machines, parts, etc. I also sent him a photo of the ID tag that his "beautiful piece" machine DOESN'T have. I told him to have a great weekend.
Here's the eBay listing. Can everyone BOMBARD him with friendly messages saying this is NOT a trade stimulator? His seller name is steviewonder2002 and I don't think it's Stevie Wonder!

I'd love to see this self righteous, pompous ass man get corrected.
