Prince 1-cent Slot Machine made ca.1934 by King Equipment Corporation in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Prince slot machines are rarely available, and this one is in excellent condition (tuned up by Bud Gott) with a prior restoration. The Prince Slot Machine includes a “mystery jackpot” feature.

This antique slot machine is smaller than the full-sized slots of that era from Mills, Jennings, etc. It weighs just 47 pounds and is only 16 inches tall. It is more like a Pace Bantam in size, though Prince Slot Machines are much harder to find. Prince Slot Machines are described in Richard Bueschel's “An Illustrated Guide to 100 Collectible Slot Machines Volume 4,” page 93.

I love this slot machine, but cannot use it anymore because of my bad back. I sold my full-size slots three years ago for the same reason. I kept this as my favorite. My back is not getting any better, so it is time to let this go to someone who will actually use it. The entire slot functions perfectly. I even hit a jackpot in 2021.

As I searched the internet for other sales, I could only find one from Morphy Auctions, and that was 7 years ago for a non-functional machine.

Disclosures: The machine was delivered to me with a “homemade” bonnet. I had a replacement bonnet fabricated that looks similar to the original, and it opens with a hidden latch instead of a lock. There are several pictures of the bonnet that came with the machine and of my better replacement.
