Bursting cherry jackpot

I'm brand new here, so pardon my lack of understanding of proper terms for things. I have a Mills " Bursting Cherry" machine that belonged to my dad. As you can see in the picture the jackpot in the middle has a glass front. Every picture I have seen of this model has a big cherry there. I am wondering if it was replaced at some point or did some models look like mine. (I filled it with dollar coins) btw, I painted it myself a few years ago. It was flat black!

Maybe it's actually a Mills Melon Bell ("half-top" rather than "High-top" model)?
Others on this forum would know a lot better than me...

Mills made 3 different models using the same basic casting design; the Cherry Bell, the Brown Front and the Melon Bell.
They look very similar and all three are often referred to by the nickname Bursting Cherry, especially by newbies.
Mills considered them 3 distinct models and each had a different standard paint scheme.

You have a Melon but gave it a Cherry Bell paint job.
The large visible diamond jackpot is standard on a Melon Bell.
You did a good job painting it, just the wrong paint scheme.
