Privacy Concerns
We take your privacy very seriously
1. We will never sell or give away your contact information. However, if YOU send a message to another Registry member your name and email will be provided to the person you are communicating with. The person sending the message will NOT be provided your contact information. Once you receive the email it is up to you to respond directly to the person who sent it. Of course, once you reply, the other party will have at least your email. A log of the initial communication which was sent to you may also be kept. We do not regularly monitor the logs. However, if we get a complaint we can investigate it and if necessary ban anyone who we consider sending inappropriate emails.
2. We need your email so that we can contact you regarding the Coin Op Registry and also forward you messages sent from other members (if your profile options permit it).
3. You do NOT need to provide your name. If you do not provide your first and last name you will NOT be able to send any messages to any member of the registry (except the administrator).
4. When you add a machine to the serial number database you will have the option to not allow any Registry member (except the administrator of the Registry) to contact you about the machine.
5. Your name and email will never show up on any web page of the Registry. Your username may show up next to the machines that you have entered serial numbers for (if you have indicated not to block this information from being displayed)
